Water minister, US ambassador discuss USAID projects

AMMAN — Minister of Water and Irrigation Raed Abu Soud on Thursday met with US Ambassador to Jordan Yael Lempert and discussed progress in projects funded by USAID in Jordan, namely projects focused on reducing water loss and the strategy to enhance water supply in the Kingdom to be rolled out in the upcoming period.  

The minister thanked the continuous support of the US government and USAID in implementing projects that will contribute to enhancing the level of water and sewage services, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.  

The US ambassador stressed that Jordan will have full support to implement strategic water projects.
