Water minister, gov't communications minister to hold meeting concerning water sector issues

AMMAN — Minister of Water and Irrigation Raed Abu Soud, and Minister of Government Communications Muhannad Mubaidin on Tuesday will hold a media conference titled "The Water Sector: Current Status and Challenges" at the Ministry of Communication building. The conference is part of the government communication forum initiated by the ministry, aiming to engage with the community and media to discuss public issues, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The conference will address various water sector topics, including water scarcity, proposed solutions, Jordan's National Water Carrier Project, water sources violations, water loss reduction projects and the National Water Sector Strategy for 2023-2040.
