Visa fees will not increase for Hajj — ministry

AMMAN — The Awqaf Ministry on Tuesday confirmed that visa application fees for Hajj, the greater Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca, will not be increased this season, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The decision by Saudi authorities to raise the fees will apply by the start of the next Hijri year, the ministry said, noting that it is committed to the Saudi authorities’ decisions.
The Saudi Council of Ministers on Monday announced that it would amend the price for entry visas.
