AMMAN — Director General of Prince Hamzah Hospital Abdul Razzaq Khushman on Wednesday said that the test results for four students who returned from abroad on Tuesday with high temperatures came back negative.

Khushman told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that their general condition is stable and that they were discharged from the hospital and sent to quarantine hotels.

He denied claims that new students among the returnees were admitted to the hospital, noting that the four students were the only suspected cases and are no longer displaying symptoms.

The students will spend 17 days in quarantine hotels and will be tested again before they leave.

Khushman said that the number of coronavirus patients receiving treatment in the hospital as of Wednesday is 51, stressing that their conditions are all stable.
