AMMAN — The Jordan Institution for Standards and Metrology (JISM) on Tuesday announced that precautionary measures have been taken against coronavirus at the Kingdom’s various customs stations.

Abeer Zuhair, general manager of the JISM, said that the institution has issued a circular to all customs stations instructing them to test samples of cosmetic products imported from China before approving their entry into the country, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Expressing keenness to protect citizens’ health, she noted that the JISM is working in cooperation with labs affiliated with the Royal Scientific Society, among other related bodies.
