AMMAN — The Arab World Centre for the Development of Democracy and Human Rights, in cooperation with Street Law and the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs and in partnership with the ministries of education and youth, is implementing a project titled “Rule of Law Matters”. The project will be funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, according to a statement from the Arab World Centre.
The project will include a specialised training workshop, to be held from January 16-19. The aim of the workshop is to prepare 30 schoolteachers, civil society organisations and university professors to teach rule of law lessons developed by local and international experts, to their constituents and to support them and ensure that they are confident and able to effectively use interactive teaching methodologies.
The workshop will be followed by a second workshop from January 23-26 targetting another 30 youth centres.
