‘Unemployment stands at 15.8%’

AMMAN — The unemployment rate in Jordan stood at 15.8 per cent during the third quarter of this year, according to Department of Statistics figures released on Monday.

The jobless rate among men stood at 13.8 per cent while it reached 25.2 per cent among women for the same period, the report said. Unemployment among university graduates reached 22.4 per cent.
