UNDP launches early warning system on floods in Wadi Musa, Petra

PETRA — UNDP on Wednesday launched an early warning system that informs of potential flood threats in Wadi Musa and Petra.

The initiative, supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in cooperation with the Petra Development Tourism and Regional Authority, is within the framework of a project to mitigate the impact of natural catastrophes and climate change in Jordan.
