AMMAN — UN Adviser in Jordan Zafiris Tzannatos on Thursday highlighted the positive indicators of Jordan's GDP, compared with other countries, despite ongoing crises. Tzannatos's remarks came during a meeting of the Senate's Finance and Economy Committee, chaired by Rajai Muasher, with CEO of the Jordan Strategy Forum Nisreen Barakat, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Muasher said that the meeting aimed to familiarise both sides with the repercussions of the Israeli war on Gaza on the Kingdom's economy. Tzannatos added that the initially projected scenarios for a short-term war have evolved as the conflict extended.
