Two-year-old drowns in pool in Ramtha

AMMAN — A two-year old baby drowned in a pool at a chalet in Ramtha on Petra Road, Ramtha Mayor Tayel Majali said on Monday. Majali said that the baby was transferred to the King Abdullah I Hospital and was declared dead on arrival, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. He said that the baby was with a group of women in the chalet. Majali said that the owner of the chalet was summoned to verify the chalet's licence, stressing that legal actions will be taken against the owner.
