Two suspects detained in JD16,000 theft, third at large

AMMAN — Criminal Investigation Department personnel on Wednesday arrested two suspects who confessed to stealing JD16,000 from two bank employees, according to the Public Security Department (PSD) media office.

On Monday, a bank employee complained that he was assaulted by two men who robbed the JD16,000 he withdrew from the bank.

Investigation revealed that three men were involved, two of whom have been arrested while a search is under way for the third suspect.

Part of the money was found with the arrested men, in addition to a gun, the PSD said.
