AMMAN — The State Security Court (SSC) on Monday sentenced a man to a three-year prison term for publishing pro-Islamic State (IS) propaganda through the Internet.
The court then commuted the sentence to two years.
The SSC also handed a commuted sentence to another defendant convicted of promoting IS ideology.
The SSC’s rulings are in line with the new amendments to the Anti-Terrorism Law.
The court also sentenced two men to three years in prison for committing terrorist acts.
