Two drones crash in northern region, no injuries reported

AMMAN — Two drones crashed early Tuesday in the northern region after they strayed off course and entered Jordanian airspace, said an official source from the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF).
The incident took place in Wadi Saidoor region in Irbid, the source said, adding that no injuries were reported but the crash sparked a fire in a forested area that spread to dry grass.
Civil defense teams rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames and prevent further damage, the source said.
JAF source added that military engineering teams were also dispatched to inspect the site and ensure it was free of explosives.
