Two die in Karak house collapse

AMMAN — Two people died and one was injured in a house collapse incident in Karak's Adir neighbourhood, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson said on Wednesday.

The spokesperson said that the Karak Civil Defence Department retrieved the two bodies from the rubble with the use of special equipment and shifted them to Karak Public Hospital, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Paramedics administered first aid to the injured and took him to Karak Public Hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition. An investigation to determine the cause of the house collapse is under way.
