Two dead, six injured in road accidents

AMMAN — Two people died and six were injured in two road accidents, the Civil Defence Department (CDD) said Thursday.

In Zarqa, a car overturned and hit a billboard on the Azraq-Zarqa road, resulting in one death and five injuries.

Zarqa CDD cadres administered first aid to the injured and took them to Zarqa Public Hospital where they were listed in fair condition.

In Amman, a car hit a man and a woman on Jordan Street, killing the woman and injuring the man, who was taken to Prince Hussein Hospital where he was listed in fair condition.
