Two dead, 23 injured in weekend accidents

AMMAN/KARAK — Twelve people were injured Saturday when a minibus and a public bus collided on the Karak-Qasr road.
Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel administered first aid to the injured and transferred them to Karak Public Hospital, where they are reported to be in fair condition.
On Friday, 11 people were injured when a minibus collided with an Amman-Bader public transport bus in Fuheis, Balqa Governorate.
Balqa CDD personnel administered first aid to the injured before taking them to King Hussein Medical Centre and Salt Public Hospital.
Ten of the injured were reported to be in fair condition, while one is in critical condition.
On the same day, a 38-year-old man and his 12-year-old son died when a truck laden with liquid phosphoric acid overturned in Maan Governorate.
CDD staff recovered the bodies and took them to Maan Public Hospital.
