Two Customs Department personnel injured on duty

AMMAN — Two Jordan Customs Department (JCD) personnel on Saturday were injured when their vehicle overturned during a pursuit, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The accident took place during a pursuit of a vehicle carrying smuggled goods in Aqaba, 330km south of Amman.
The injured personnel were taken to hospital where they were reported to be in fair condition. Another JCD patrol followed the vehicle and confiscated the goods.
