Tweisi meets Libyan ambassador over increase in student exchange

AMMAN — Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Adel Tweisi on Monday met with the Libyan Ambassador to Jordan Mohammad Hassan Barghathi to discuss increasing the number of Libyan students in Jordan's universities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Tweisi voiced the ministry's readiness to provide Libyan students with all the needed facilitations, especially in light of the "exceptional circumstances" happening in Libya. Barghathi stressed the depth of bilateral relations and Libya's keenness on enhancing cooperation with the Kingdom.

He extended appreciation to Jordan for receiving Libyan students during the "difficult times" the country is witnessing, noting that a forum for Libyan students studying in Jordan will be conducted after Ramadan.
