Tweisi calls for further cooperation between Jordan, Thailand

AMMAN — The Senate’s Jordanian Thai Friendship Committee, chaired by Senator Adel Tweisi, expressed its commitment to boosting relations with Thailand.
During a meeting with Thai Ambassador Piriya Khempon, Tweisi stressed the importance of exchanging expertise between the two countries.
Highlighting Jordan’s central location as an investment attraction and a trade hub, he urged Thailand to benefit from the opportunities available in Jordan.
The senator also called for boosting tourism cooperation.
At present, around 600 Thai students are studying at Jordanian universities.
