Travel agency donates JD15,000 to fallen officers fund

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Saturday received Travel One tourism agency's Executive Manager Nidal Qarat, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Travel One has donated JD15,000 to the fund for families of fallen army and security agencies' personnel. The company also offered free umrah trips (the lesser Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca).
Forty-eight people from the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) performed the pilgrimage with their wives or mothers last year. The agency has also donated JD10,000 to upgrade flights for JAF members.
