AMMAN — Naua, a Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) initiative, on Sunday announced the opening of a training centre in Aqaba in cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) under the Social Participation and Community Engagement by Youth (SPACE) project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The announcement came during a press conference attended by representatives of the CPF, Naua, GIZ, and the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority.
Naua CEO Ahmad Zubi said that the centre aims to provide training to youth in Aqaba, adding that it targets pre-employment age groups to prepare them for the labour market and help them establish their own projects.
The centre will prioritise the concepts of volunteering by providing a large number of volunteer opportunities in cooperation with partners in Aqaba.
