KARAK — Owners of commercial stores and coffee shops located in front of the northern and the southern gates of Mutah University on Tuesday urged the concerned authorities to intervene and put a stop to students’ brawls, due to the losses they incur as a result.
Brawls that start on campus and continue on the street near these shops have caused financial losses, the storeowners said, pointing out that the windows of their shops and cars are often shattered during these fights, where stones, sticks and knives are frequently used.
