Trade Ministry continues to ensure commitment to health measures

AMMAN — The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply on Monday urged the public and institutions to abide by the defence orders related to the health preventive measures. In a statement, the ministry said that inspection teams are conducting extensive campaigns to ensure commitment of individuals and institutions to precautionary measures. A total of 2,378 fines were issued against a number of institutions and 1,055 against individuals for violating precautionary measures.
Three facilities were closed during Eid Al Adha holiday for serving shisha inside closed halls. The inspection teams conducted 102,420 visits during the holiday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
