AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Al Ali on Tuesday decided to ban the export and reexport of vegetable oils, starting from Tuesday, in light of the global price hike and its local repercussions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The ministry took a decision last July to prevent the export and re-export of sugar, rice, dry legumes, fodder, wheat and flour, aiming to safeguard the strategic reserve of these commodities.
