Tourist facility shut down for health violations

AMMAN — Inspection teams from the Ministry of Tourism, in cooperation with other relevant authorities, have shut down one tourist facility and imposed fines on 16 others in April for failing to comply with health and safety measures.
In a statement, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the ministry said that its 15 inspection teams have intensified their oversight tours and have conducted 1,994 visits to various tourist businesses, including hotels and restaurants, across the Kingdom.
