Tourism raises individual living standards — Annab

AMMAN — Tourism Minister Lina Annab on Saturday stressed the importance of holding tourism, cultural and entertainment festivals in further raising awareness among citizens of the importance of the tourism sector in improving individual living standards, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During Ramadan, the ministry held many festivals across the Kingdom in order to promote historical and cultural heritage, Annab said, adding that the ministry aims to meet the objectives of the National Tourism Strategy through organising festivals in Ajloun, Umm Qais, Madaba and at the Dead Sea.
