Tourism Ministry distributes guide for sector’s return to work

AMMAN — The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities on Wednesday circulated a guide regulating the work of establishments and activities in the tourism sector after the government decided to gradually reopen the tourism sector in the coming stage within safety and health regulations.
The guide banned saunas, hot tubs, massages, children’s clubs, parties, private and public birthdays, night clubs, changing rooms, public and shared pools in hotel establishments and tourist accommodation services.
The guide also banned hookah cafes, as well as the serving of hookahs and holding of any parties within tourist restaurants and camps, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
