AMMAN — Tkiyet Um Ali (TUA) on Thursday announced plans to send 60,000 winter coats for children and 50,000 blankets to families in Gaza in the coming days, as part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to support those affected by the deteriorating conditions in the war-torn Strip.
The charity said the aid was prepared at Dar Abu Abdullah, where women participating in economic empowerment programs crafted the coats and blankets. This initiative combines humanitarian relief with sustainable development, providing women the opportunity to earn a dignified income while contributing to community-focused projects, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
TUA emphasised that the initiative reflects its broader mission to support vulnerable groups both within Jordan and abroad, working with partner organisations to ensure the rapid delivery of aid to those most in need.
The charity added that its teams continue to prepare and dispatch assistance to the highest standards, reaffirming their commitment to combating hunger and poverty while promoting human dignity.
