Three die after being trapped in a pit in Amman — PSD

AMMAN — Three people on Thursday died after being trapped in a pit in Amman. The Public Security Department's (PSD) spokesperson said that rescue teams rushed to scene and extracted the trapped people from the pit, where they were declared dead. The bodies were immediately taken to hospital, and an investigation was launched, the spokesperson said, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
