Thneibet discusses refugee education with UK minister

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Education Minister Mohammad Thneibat on Thursday discussed bilateral relations with British Minister of State for International Development Roderick Stewart.
Thneibat stressed that the Kingdom believes in the right to education for all children, and has opened its schools to Syrian children and other nationals residing in the Kingdom regardless of the reasons for their residence.
Thneibat said Jordan presents this service on behalf of the international community, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Stewart voiced the British government’s awareness of the pressure on Jordan’s education sector due to the Syrian crisis.
