AMMAN — A delegation from the Amman Group for Future Dialogues (Jamaat Amman) on Saturday visited the Baqura area on the northern military zone front.
The delegation heard a summary from the chief of staff of the zone on the duties and roles played by the northern military zone and the historical and geographical importance of the region, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Head of the Amman Group Bilal Tal stressed that this visit was in line with a programme launched by the group to introduce the achievements of the Kingdom and the role played by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army in protecting the security and borders of Jordan.
The delegation praised the efforts made by the armed forces in defending the Kingdom and the high morale of its personnel. Jamaat Amman is a think tank comprised of experts in the economic, political, social and educational sectors, Petra said.
