Team Jordan website launched

AMMAN — The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) has launched a new website that puts the focus on Team Jordan athletes and teams, according to the Jordan Olympic Committee News Service.

The site — www.teamjordan.jo — will follow the participation of Jordanian sports in the major championships like Olympic Games and Asian Games.

The website allow visitors to get to know the athletes by following their progress as well as finding out background information like career overviews and previous results and participation.

The athletes’ personal social media accounts will also be shared. The launch is in line with the JOC’s mission to promote sport to the wider population by placing the spotlight on the athletes who are competing. The site also provides a historical look at Jordan’s participation in previous Olympic and Asian Games.
