AMMAN — The Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) launched the first “School Network Research Study” on Monday.
The study is a key component of the “Scaling-Up Professional Development” project that is currently being implemented with funding from the Global Affairs Canada in support of the Ministry of Education to provide quality professional development opportunities for Jordanian teachers.
The study will assess the impact of QRTA school network programmes on classroom instruction, student performance and teachers’ communities of professional development, a QRTA statement said.
It is implemented with the technical support of the University of Toronto – Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and the National Centre for Human Resources Development. Six hundred educators from schools in the Kingdom’s three regions will participate in the study.
