TAFILEH — Employees at the Public Works Directorate in Tafileh held a work stoppage for a few hours on Tuesday, protesting that they were not given their wages for clearing snow during the last blizzard.
Speaking on behalf of the protesters, Qaisar Muhaisen said around 150 workers opened roads that were blocked during the snowstorm, working round-the-clock for six days and their dues, JD300 each, have not been paid yet.
