Syrian child drowns in agricultural pond

MAFRAQ — A Syrian child drowned on Thursday in an agricultural pond in the Zaatari area, the Civil Defence Department (CDD) said. Mafraq CDD Director Bashir Momani said department personnel administrated first aid to the child and took him to Mafraq Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
