AMMAN — Jordan Engineers Association employees’ committee staged a sit-in on Tuesday in front of the Professional Associations Complex, demanding the release of two association members and political activists, Ghassan Doaar and Mazen Nafeh, according to an association statement.
An association member, Badi Rafaiaa, said the detained engineers “deserve to be honoured, not locked up in jail”, as they have been active in defending Palestine, Jerusalem, Al Aqsa Mosque and the homeland.
