AMMAN — Zarqa Preventive Security Department personnel have arrested a suspected arms dealer found in possession of weapons and ammunition, according to a Public Security Department statement released Saturday.
The agents made the arrest during a raid on the suspect’s house after receiving a tip on his activities. A search of the suspect’s house netted six pistols, a pump-action shotgun, large quantities of weapon parts, a machine to manufacture arms and one kilogramme of gunpowder, the statement said.
