AMMAN — A recent study recommended to establish an independent commission to set up a unified authority to regulate the health sector.
Conducted by the Higher Population Council in cooperation with ShareNet project, the study included recommendations to enhance public-private sectors partnership in providing sexual and reproductive health services, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The proposals included private insurance companies’ coverage for the methods of contraception, as well as to raise legislators’ awareness of the importance of public-private sector partnerships, among others.
