AMMAN — The State Security Court (SSC) on Wednesday held a public hearing on the “Karak” case after the Cassation Court contested the SSC’s ruling.
The prior ruling originally reduced the sentence of two defendants in the “Karak” case from the death penalty to lifetime imprisonment.
The SSC prosecutor requested that the court accept the Cassation Court’s ruling, while the attorney for one of the defendants requested additional time to consider the decision, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
