Southern regions witness light snowfall

AMMAN — Personnel from the Ministry of Public Works and Housing on Saturday dealt with light snow showers on roads in the southern region.

The ministry's spokesperson, Aroub Abbadi, said that some 31 notes were made in Aqaba, Maan and Petra District, which all were addressed in coordination with the related bodies, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Abbadi urged the public to exercise caution and to avoid low-lying and flood-prone areas, especially in the Dead Sea area, Wadi Araba and Aqaba.
