Southern Military Zone personnel foil infiltration attempt

AMMAN — Southern Military Zone personnel, in coordination with specialised security military units, on Saturday foiled an infiltration attempt by two Uzbek and two Kazakh nationals. According to a military source at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), Border Guards applied the rules of engagement, arrested the four individuals and referred them to the competent authorities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The source stressed that JAF personnel have a zero tolerance policy for infiltration and smuggling attempts, or any activities that threaten Jordan’s national security.
