AMMAN — The Slovenian government, in coordination with the Honourary Consulate in Amman, announced on Monday scholarships for Jordanian students. In the statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the consulate said that these scholarships, worth 100,000 euros, are intended for outstanding students pursuing their Masters and PhD degrees in the 2019/2020 academic year.
Interested students can visit the website of the Ministry of Higher Education to apply, where the best candidates would be chosen under certain terms and conditions.
These scholarships aim at increasing cooperation between Jordan and Slovenia in the higher education field, while Jordanian higher education institutions will also receive Slovenian students.
The Honourary Consul of Slovenia in Amman Ali Haidar Murad expressed his keenness to further enhance cooperation between Ljubljana and Amman, especially at the educational level.
