Shbeeb discusses transport cooperation with Egyptian officials

AMMAN — Transport Minister Lina Shbeeb on Monday met with the adviser to her Egyptian counterpart, Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Yousef, and Gen. Hassan Falah, chairman of Egypt’s Red Sea Ports Authority, and discussed means to establish a RO-RO (roll-on/roll-off) line to facilitate trade movement between the two countries.

Discussions also covered the possibility of reviving the Suez-Aqaba line and opening the Karama crossing to export Egyptian products to Erbil in Iraqi Kurdistan.
