Shbeeb calls for collaboration to alleviate traffic congestion

AMMAN — Transport Minister Lina Shbeeb on Tuesday stressed the importance of maintaining cooperation with the Public Security Department (PSD) and other parties in charge of traffic operations to alleviate road congestion and reduce accidents.
During a visit to the PSD air division, she went on a tour aboard a PSD aircraft to get a closer look at the traffic situation at peak hours.
Shbeeb stressed the importance of implementing strategic plans to ensure a smooth flow of traffic, especially on roads linking Amman, Zarqa and Irbid.
