AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yousef Shamali has conducted a series of meetings with Algerian ministers over enhancing cooperation in the fields of trade, industry and energy.
According to a ministry statement, Shamali, who is visiting Algeria, met Algerian Minister of Industry Ahmed Zeghdar, Algerian Minister of Energy and Mining Mohamed Arkab, and a number of other officials, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During a separate meeting with Zeghdar, talks focused on utilising the available cooperation opportunities to achieve industrial integration. Shamali and Arkab agreed to assign experts to examine the prospects of supplying Jordan with crude oil, liquefied natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and distributing and storing petroleum products in the Kingdom.
