Shamali highlights importance of Jordan-UAE-Egypt industrial partnership

AMMAN — Jordan, the UAE and Egypt integrated industrial partnership aims to achieve sustainable economic development, as well as to establish "unprecedented" tripartite cooperation, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yousef Shamali said on Wednesday.

During a visit to the Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCC), Shamali said that the tripartite cooperation would set an "advanced" model for pan-Arab economic cooperation. He acquainted the chamber's board of directors with the details of the partnership, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The projects, under the partnership, will be implemented in cooperation with the private sector, he noted, stressing that the proposals made by the Jordanian private sector have been taken into account during the drafting of the "unprecedented" partnership.
