Shamali, Czech industry minister talk cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yousef Shamali on Wednesday met Czech Minister of Industry and trade Jozef Sikela over bolstering cooperation in various fields.
Stressing the Kingdom's keenness on enhancing economic partnerships with the Czech Republic, Shamali said that the Czech Republic’s presidency of the Council of the European Union in July would enhance Jordanian-European relations.
Sikela, who is on a visit to the Kingdom, said that as his country is preparing to assume the presidency of the Council of the European Union, enhancing cooperation with Jordan will be one of the key issues on the agenda. Talks during the meeting also went over the agenda of the meetings of the joint committee.
