Seven suspects arrested for drug, weapon possession in Ruseifa

AMMAN — Gendarmerie Department and Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel on Sunday arrested a suspect in Ruseifa described as “armed and dangerous”, for possessing amounts of narcotics, according to a Public Security Department statement.

The gendarmerie and AND personnel raided a house the suspect was in and arrested him and six others, for the possession of 1kg of hashish, 1,000 narcotic pills, an amount of synthetic cannabis (locally known as joker) and two firearms, according to the statement.
