Senators donate to fund for families of fallen servicemen

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Monday received a Senate delegation, whose members presented JD225,900 as a donation from senators to the fund for the families of fallen army and security personnel.

Freihat thanked the senators for the gesture, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Also on Monday, Freihat received Zain Jordan CEO Ahmad Hanandeh, who presented a donation of JD25,000 to the fund on the occasion of His Majesty King Abdullah’s 55th birthday, Petra added.
