Senate president urges comprehensive public sector administration development

AMMAN — The current developmental phase requires ministerial and institutional improvements in citizen services, in line with the broader developments in the Kingdom, Senate President Faisal Fayez said on Saturday.  Opening a conference titled: "Highlights on the public sector development plan," organised by the Jordanian Society for Administrative Leaders at the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI), Fayez emphasised the need for comprehensive public sector administration development by boosting the capacities and competencies of its employees, and ensuring their commitment. ACI President Fathi Jaghbir said that the industrial sector's success in realising the Economic Modernisation Vision requires public sector modernisation as a prerequisite to national administrative development across the country, according to an ACI statement.
